Ep# 11 - The Tomfoolery of Jerry Lewis Movies

Ep# 11 - The Tomfoolery of Jerry Lewis Movies

In the latest episode of Notes From the Back Row, Carlo and I discuss three Jerry Lewis fil—wait! Don’t leave! Here’s the thing: I’ve been on an odyssey of watching Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis films (togeddah both and solo careers) for several months, and Carlo bravely volunteered to peek into my nightmarish existence. Seeing as Carlo and I both have a deep love for live-action cartoon films, it actually was a pretty decent fit. So join us as we discuss Jerry Lewis’ evolution from being directed by cartoonist Frank Tashlin (Artists & Models), to collaborating with him (The Geisha Boy), and then breaking out on his own (The Nutty Professor). If nothing else, I at least hope to have answered the question of “what’s the deal with Jerry Lewis.”

A new episode of Notes From the Back Row will be released every other week.
